Cauliflower

Versatile vegetable in its preparation, with a crunchy texture but very smooth when cooked and with a slightly sweet taste. This vegetable can be used raw or cooked, in salads, gratins, pies and a substitute for rice. Cauliflower contains antioxidants and is a source of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, manganese, B vitamins, in addition to K and C. It also has flavonoids and sulforaphane, substances that help prevent diseases.
